1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QuickRandomChat (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the following requirements to use the Service:

3. Description of Service

QuickRandomChat is an anonymous, text-only chat platform that connects users with random strangers for real-time conversation. Key characteristics of the Service include:

• All conversations are strictly text-based. No video, audio, or file sharing is supported.
• All chat content is user-generated. The platform does not initiate, curate, select, or encourage any particular type of conversation.
• Conversations exist only in active memory during a live session. Unreported chats are permanently destroyed upon disconnection and are never stored, logged, or accessible to anyone.

4. User Conduct

By using the Service, you agree not to:

• Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or intimidate any other user.
• Share or transmit illegal, harmful, obscene, or exploitative content of any kind.
• Engage in the distribution of content involving the exploitation of minors. This is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in warnings, temporary bans, and repeated offenses may lead to a permanent ban.
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or bypass any technical safeguard, security measure, or rate-limiting mechanism.
• Impersonate another individual or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Use the Service for any activity that is unlawful under applicable law.
• Disseminate misinformation that is intended to cause harm to individuals or groups.

5. Chat Content Disclaimer

• All chat content is provided "as is" by other users. The platform makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, quality, or reliability of any conversation.
• The Service does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other form of expert advice.
• You acknowledge that you interact with other users entirely at your own risk.

6. Reporting and Moderation

The platform operates strictly on a report-based moderation model. We do not proactively read, monitor, or perform automated analysis of chat content. Action is taken only in response to user-submitted reports.

We reserve the right to:

• Review reported content (limited to the most recent messages from the reported session).
• Issue formal warnings to users who violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
• Restrict, suspend, or permanently ban any user account, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion.
• Temporarily retain reported content for a limited investigation period, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted.

7. Ban and Enforcement Policy

Violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines may result in escalating enforcement actions, including:

• Warnings: Issued for minor or first-time violations.
• Temporary Bans: Applied for repeated or moderate violations. Duration is determined by severity and history.
• Permanent Bans: Reserved for severe violations, including but not limited to exploitation, threats of violence, and repeated abusive behavior.

Certain banned users may have the option to submit a formal appeal through the platform. Additionally, our moderation team routinely conducts independent administrative reviews and may manually lift temporary or permanent restrictions if we determine they were issued in error or successfully resolved via direct contact. All moderation decisions are final unless explicitly stated otherwise.

8. Credits and Monetization

The Service operates on a free-to-use credits system designed to maintain community quality and platform sustainability.

• Credits are earned for free by watching short, voluntary advertisements. Credits are not purchased with real currency.
• Credits can be used to activate "Priority Matchmaking," which increases the probability of being matched with the most active and engaged users on the platform.
• Priority Matchmaking does not guarantee a match with any specific user or user type.
• Credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
• Guest users have a credit capacity of 15. Registered members have a credit capacity of 30.
• Abuse of the credits system (including but not limited to automated ad-watching or exploiting technical vulnerabilities) may result in forfeiture of all credits and account suspension.

9. Privacy and Data Handling

We are committed to data minimization. Our data practices include:

• We do not store chat transcripts by default. Conversations exist only in active memory and are permanently destroyed upon disconnection.
• We may collect minimal, non-personally-identifiable data such as anonymous session identifiers, hashed device fingerprints, and temporary IP addresses strictly for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention purposes.
• Reported content is temporarily retained for investigation and is automatically and permanently deleted after a short retention period.
• We do not sell, share, or trade any user data with third parties for commercial purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not responsible or liable for any user-generated content, including but not limited to messages exchanged between users during chat sessions.
• We are not liable for service interruptions, downtime, data loss, or any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
• We are not liable for the actions, behavior, or conduct of any user on the platform.

11. Intermediary Status

QuickRandomChat operates as an intermediary platform. We do not originate, select, modify, or exercise editorial control over any user-generated content. The platform acts solely as a conduit for user-to-user communication and operates under applicable intermediary liability and safe harbor principles.

In compliance with applicable intermediary regulations, the platform maintains:

• A visible, accessible reporting mechanism available during every active chat session.
• Prompt action on reported unlawful content, including session termination and evidence capture.
• Temporary, time-limited retention of reported content for investigation purposes only.
• Removal or restriction of access for repeat offenders.
• Clearly published Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

12. Cooperation with Legal Authorities

The platform will cooperate with lawful requests from recognized legal authorities. In such cases, we will only provide:

• Information that is lawfully and validly requested.
• Data that is technically available within our systems at the time of the request.
• Information that is strictly limited to reported incidents and the associated session data.

13. Termination

We may terminate or restrict your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or prior notice, in order to protect users, maintain platform integrity, or ensure compliance with applicable law. You may also discontinue your use of the Service at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
